Canterbury Cheesemongers has a pretty simple message to convey: cheese is GOOD. We designed their brand to be eyecatching, approachable and slightly quirky, to reflect the character of their business.
If you happen to find yourself in the vicinity of the Arts Centre on Montreal Street in central Christchurch, pop in and say hello to Sarah and Martin – they make the most delicious sandwiches with freshly baked bread, yummy chutney, salad and of course, your choice of cheese.

Beck Children's Clothier
The name BECK is an acronym of beautiful everyday clothing for kids. The brand we created for BECK had to convey the high quality of their clothing, and it had to be a label children, parents and grandparents alike could relate to. Rosa, BECK's tiny mascot, is a South Island Black Robin and a New Zealand native species.

Board of Design has been very proud to support TEDxChristchurch in its first five years, since its inception in 2010. The development of a complete visual identity for each of the first five events was creatively challenging and hugely rewarding, and it's been exciting to see such an excellent local event go from strength to strength.

Antique Print Gallery
As our former neighbours in our New Regent Street days, we've worked on various projects with the Antique Print Gallery since 2003, from exhibition graphics to greetings cards. It's a graphic designer's idea of heaven to have a whole gallery worth of antique prints and maps to work with.
We've also created a couple of crafty window displays for the gallery as part of the Ellerslie Flower Show window display competition, for which we won the Supreme Award in 2009 and Best Retailer Silver in 2010.
